Awards Night 2016

Well done to all of our award winners this year. A special thanks to our Distinguished Past Pupil Ursula Hederman who gave an inspirational speech to the girls. Ursula, who is the principal of Brooklodge Primary School completed her primary and secondary education in the St Patrick’s Campus and completed her first two years of post-qualification training in the St Patrick’s primary schools. Ursula also gave the John Ring Junior Cert of the Year and the Bertie McSweeney Leaving Cert of the Year to sisters Helen Quill and Mary Quill. It was great to see girls from the Class of 2015 who came to receive their Gold Medals for outstanding performance in the Leaving Cert. For the first time this year, St Patrick’s College awarded a Community Award to an organisation in the community that has strong links with the school - this year the award was given to Foroige for their outstanding contribution to the school.
